Las Vegas Intertribal Veterans Powwow
|
|
Our VisionMany of us came here to Las Vegas from different parts of Turtle Island seeking work and a chance to better our lives for our families. We had to leave behind our extended families, community ties and they ways of life we had "back home." To regain this sense of community we all left behind we offer community events beginning with this annual Veteran's honoring powwow. Please join us in building this dream. Our Mission To create a community forum to honor our Veterans and
Elders, emphasizing intercultural Indigenous Native sensitivity, celebrating
tribal traditions, and promoting the positive aspects of our intertribal
First Nations peoples.
